FCR is a smart dog, very attached to his keeper. Learns very quickly. Matures late - that's dog version of "Peter Pan", the eternally cheerful, fun and always ready to tricks.

Flats are very confident, even to strangers - not good as for a defense dog.

Good in dogotherapy - they're very patient and gentle for children. But keep in mind that flats are large dogs and you can't leave your child and dog unattended.

Flats need a lot of activity. When they are bored they may find cool play which won't be accepted by owner. ;)

Flats not tolerate shouting and violence - carried in bad way may become fairful. In the same time they need a consequence in training as they are able to use every inconsistence behavior of the owner.

With lots of activity and love they become a great family friends.
